Poll for the New Recognized Chess Variant of Autumn 2005

Autumn 2005 is almost over, and I haven't yet conducted a poll for this season's new recognized chess variant. So here it is. This poll is for adding a new game to our list of recognized chess variants. It will be the new addition for the autumn season of 2005. The winner of this poll will be added to the list, and it will subsequently become a candidate in polls for selecting the recognized variant of the month. Given the short notice for this poll, the moderate size of candidates, the absence of new candidates, and the elimination of last month's last place candidate, no candidates will be dropped this time around. Instead, the usual rules described on the recognized variants page will apply. Here are the candidates:

Cavalier Chess
Chosen for the 2003 Multivariant PBEM Tournament and the First Game Courier Tournament.
Chess on a Longer Board with a few Pieces Added
One of the games chosen for the 2003 Multivariant PBEM Tournament.
Chessgi
Chosen for the First Game Courier Tournament
Crazyhouse
Crazyhouse can be played at the four major online chess servers (ICC, FICS, US ChessLive, Chess.net) and has been available at each of the above sites for many years. It is extremely popular at each site and is an excellent game and deserves to be mentioned. -- Ed Collins
Dark Chess
This chess variant can be played on 3 game servers (BrainKing, SchemingMind and ItsYourTurn) and is a quite popular. I personally consider it the best chess variant with incomplete information, with elegant rules and more interesting to play then Kriegspiel. -- Andreas Kaufmann.
Eurasian Chess
Chosen for the First Game Courier Tournament
Jumping Chess
First place winner of the 100 Squares Chess Variant Contest.
Kamikaze Mortal Shogi
Chosen for the First Game Courier Tournament
Maxima

Philosopher's Chess
First place winner of the 40 squares contest.
Pocket Mutation Chess
