Rules
<<Promotion>>
1. Pieces that reach the enemy camp (7th to 9th rank) are promoted.
2. When a Promoted piece is captured, its promotion disappears.
<<Drop>>
1. You can drop a piece you captured on any empty square.
- Only one piece may be dropped on the board per turn, and this must be done instead of moving a piece on the board.
2. The piece cannot be promoted as soon as it is dropped to the enemy camp. the piece can be promoted by moving in the enemy camp after being dropped.
- Therefore, the Pawn cannot be dropped at the end of the enemy camp.
- But unlike Shogi, Incense(香) and Cassia(桂) can be dropped at the end of enemy camp. b they can go not only forward, but also sidewards or backward.
3. You can drop a piece to give an opponent a check but it shouldn't be a checkmate.
4. You cannot drop a Pawn on a file where another Pawn is already standing.
1. Both players can change the positions of Cannon and Van before the start of the match. The second player can change first, and the first player can change afterward.
2. Cannon, Van, Incense, and Angle are counted as 5 points and the remaining pieces are counted as 1 point each. When becoming Jishogi, the player with a total score of less than 35 loses.
- Other rules are same as Shogi.
Notes
There is no passing a turn.
Stalemated player is defeated.
If the same phase occurs 4 times in a row, it is a draw. but if you make the same shape 4 times as a consecutive check, you are defeated.
- If a draw is made due to repetition or other reasons, the match is played again by swapping first player and second player. (naturally, Highground can be placed in a different place than the previous match.
Other rules are same as Shogi.
