The Money Tag
Description
These games allow the use of money, credits, or points for the sake of buying some advantage in the game. The particular use of money may vary from game to game. Some may allow you to use money to build an army at the beginning of the game, and some may let you use or accumulate money throughout the game. This is normally play money, like in Monopoly, not actual money, like in Poker, though it may just be a matter of bookkeeping and doesn't need to have any physical form.
