Since Java is no longer supported in most browsers, our Java applets probably will not run unless you install an extension that will run them. Variant by an Indian king from the 1800's. The king's intention is to start Red with a substantial positional advantage while White gets two extra pawns. For this reason, and since probably nobody knows for sure, I did not allow the white pawns to make initial double steps. I thought promotion should be to the white file piece, queen for the seventh file.
