(8x8, Cells: 64) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]In answer to George Duke's question, no, Dicemate was not in my mind when I created this variant. To be honest I see no great similarity. In this variant the player is free to decide which piece to deploy, whether to move to an empty square or fire at an occupied one, and in which initial direction. All that the dice determines is which piece eventually gets removed from the board, a fate which Dicemate pieces never suffer.
