They (Eggs) can be destroyed by long-range pieces. As the square where is located an Egg itself not infected. And the piece which killed an Egg, will be not infected, too. Game rules are picked up so that as much as possible to come nearer to the version of famous moves.

Lion in this game it is a Cannon, I could`n find in Alfair historiacal pieces, something similar. I will try change leo to Cannon.Yours Demon setup is very powerful and against this powerfull setup I put little strengthened setup of Symchess. I think this battle will be very interesting. From one side great force from another some strange pieces (Cannons). But I think common result will be not good for Black.

💡📝Namik Zade wrote on Tue, May 9, 2006 04:33 PM UTC:
It is done ,now.

💡📝Namik Zade wrote on Wed, May 10, 2006 06:38 AM UTC:
It is the Cannon. In alfaire pieces unfortunately I cudn`t find piece similar to Cannon. But I think Queen + Amazon > 2 Cannons. War machine = Cannon from Xianqi. But anyway it will be very interesting to test both variants. I tested Yours Demon game I played several games. I have questiont to you if You will change places Knights and Bishops? In this case, knight will have good mobility. It was problem for me when I played Demon game.

💡📝Namik Zade wrote on Wed, May 10, 2006 07:52 AM UTC:
Very good.I think Yours Demon (with full setup of pieces and all combinations of the pieces)most optimal setup. If it will be compare for example with Alekhine Chess, for me was much easer play yours variant.

Hi,Claudio. In my opinion optimal setup it means symmetry in all cases as a chess is symmetric by the nature. Good example Classical Chess,1.Setup-White-Black, 2.White or Black (right and left flanks),3.Pawns protection,4.Pieces density, 50% free squares and 50% non-free (Capablanca chess 8x10,Classic Chess8x8 and so on).For a board 10x10 if we use 25 pieces from each side(then 50% pieces density) the setup will be not symmetrical and increasing quantity of pieces for exp. 28-30 from each side will increase duration of a game and positions to become too heavy and I think 48%-52% pieces density is okey in this case. For exp. L.Smith`s Demon Chess -48%, Samarcanda Chess -52%, Opulent Chess -48% and so on.

Total Pieces influence on the centre of the empty board ( White or Black only, if they are symmetrical) without King and pawns = f.exp.(Orthodox Chess) - Knight = 2x8, Bishop = 2x13, Rook = 2x18, Q =27 ,Total = 97. Empty squares in the beginning of the game = 32. Then for Orthodox Chess S = 97/32 =3.03.

💡📝Namik Zade wrote on Fri, Jun 9, 2006 02:35 PM UTC:
Of course, this method doesn`t show us which game is better. All Chess variants are good enought. It is just for comparison analyses. If somebody like to play Orthodox Chess then he can choose something similar (pieces density, pieces influence and so on) with using this method.
