Chaos Chess is a commercial chess variant, using cards. Early 2003, one set of 80 cards is available, but more sets, and special types of tokens are planned. The game is played with the cards, plus a normal chess set. The cards can be played to change the rules of chess, e.g., the movement of pieces. <p>The game is made by the company Hammerdog Games, a game company that made several role playing games. The website offers 40 cards to be downloaded as demo, information on the available and planned items, and ordering information.
