Nelson comments, "I resigned at this point--he had a forced mate." Howe comments to Nelson, "...the game surely doesn't reflect your real ability and inflates mine." (Forced mate: 5. Kc4, Mb6; 6. Ka3, NRe4; 7. Kb1, NRc3. Checkmate. -Ed.)
