The Piece: Quintessence Tag
Description
The Quintessence is a special Nightrider with a 90 degree zigzag pattern. It develops along Camelrider lines. On an empty board, it can move d1 -- c3 -- e4 -- d6 -- f7 -- e9 -- g10. The piece was found by Jörg Knappen and described in "Nachtmahr A study game with seven different nightriders in it" (2002).
