Magicpawns Chess. Any piece can move to friendly pawn and change place with it. Pawns thus become more dynamic and pieces less constrained.[All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]

Mats, there seems to be a problem with this preset. Please look at the kibbitz. Maybe you can fix it? Black is unable to play pxQ.

It's not the preset! In order to move the queen from a2 to d5 he has input a weird move:
a2-d5;Q-d5

It's a minus sign there, too. I do not know what this means. To move the queen one should simply input:
Q a2-d5

This form of faulty input should really be stopped by the Game Courier software. If they want to continue the game they only need to back a move and input a proper move.

Mats, I just wanted to check in and see whether you were following the ongoing kibbitzes? Maybe it would help if you disabled the rules in your preset?

I was confused by the strange moves so I didn't check the preset properly. I found a bug which I've now fixed. I have playtested my presets so I'm surprised that I missed this one. I need to have code in this preset because a piece automatically changes place with a friendly pawn. Was it really me who invented this one? This is kind of fun.
