Everything makes sense, but I couldn't get the ZRF for this game to work.

Do pawn capture orthogonally or diagonally? Do promoted cannon movees as pao and vao or as pao and bishop?

The 39 squares have big palaces of 9 like Xiangqi. Assume Pawn capture and move the same orthogonal one-step. Promoted Knight jumps. Promoted Cannon becomes Pao and Vao for sure. King and Queen are just different names for the same piece-type the two sides; and there are dual, triple really, names for all the types. Apparently any piece capturing immediately promotes if not already promoted. Captured pieces later dropped have reverted to unpromoted state in changing sides.

I thought promoted cannon is only diagonal. It is not entirely clear and should be corrected?
